Long Island Teen Challenge is a 14-month residential program for hurting young men and ladies, and married couples, 17-years and older caught in the vicious cycle of drug and alcohol abuse and other life controlling problems. The Mission is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive. Through their new lives, they are able to embrace their purpose and fulfill their destiny.
Most people know Supermodel Kim Alexis for her captivating physical beauty. But there’s more to her story than meets the eye.
She started modeling at the age of 18 and amassed over 500 magazine covers but quickly launched into TV as a spokesperson, actress, host and commentator.
She grew up an athlete. She loves to try new sports and encourage other women in all levels of fitness and natural health.
She has written books about the modeling industry both fiction and non fiction. Her goal in life is: to encourage other women to be their best in all areas of life.
She is a mother of 5 and has been a TV show host.
Alexis was one of the top models of the 1980s, identified along with Gia Carangi, Carol Alt, Christie Brinkley, Kelly Emberg, Iman, and Paulina Porizkova. In 1983 she became the face of Revlon’s premium Ultima II line, replacing Lauren Hutton.
