Linda Morand is an American writer, former Iconic cover-girl and haute couture mannequin prominent in the fashion world during the 1960s in New York, discovered by Eileen Ford, while studying art in NYC. Known as ‘Super Chick’, appearing on the fashion scene at the same time as Twiggy, and the British Invasion, she was and noted participating in futuristic fashion layouts and James Bond type spy take-offs. In the Mod era, she appeared in national ads, magazine covers editorial pages and TV commercials. Some of these photos are considered iconic today and currently hang in museums and art galleries.
